Falcons Chargers inactives: Atlanta short two offensive linemen

Good news for the tank crowd.

NFL: SEP 29 Titans at Falcons

The Falcons face off against the Charges on Sunday, a game this is not a must-win situation for either team. The playoffs sailed a long time ago for both teams, however, both teams are so similar in their ability to look great and then blow leads in historic ways.

This is the most winnable game remaining on Atlanta’s schedule, however, with all eyes towards the offseason, some may be hoping for a loss. With four starters out this week, a win will be even tougher.

The team announced the inactives and they are plentiful.

  • Julio Jones
  • Qadree Ollison
  • Ricardo Allen
  • Kaleb McGary
  • James Carpenter
  • Charles Harris
  • Deadrin Senat

As usual, our hope to finally get a bit of film on Senat and Ollison is crushed. The Falcons will also be short on two starting offensive linemen, a major problem considering Dirk Koetter’s offensive scheme.

  • Easton Stick
  • Joe Reed
  • Joshua Kelley
  • Troymaine Pope
  • Denzel Perryman
  • Tyree St. Louis

Not too many major names popping up here, however, it is good to see the speedy Perryman out, potentially giving some outside hope the Falcons can develop a run game.
