It’s nearly been a week since the Atlanta Falcons won their first divisional game of the season on Thursday Night Football against the Carolina Panthers. In the game itself, the team suffered some injuries, such as wide receiver Calvin Ridley who sustained a foot injury.
On Wednesday, the Falcons released their official practice report giving us insight into the current health of the team.
FULL PARTICIPATION
- N/A
LIMITED PARTICIPATION
- CB Kendall Sheffield (concussion)
- WR Russell Gage (shoulder, knee)
- TE Jaeden Graham (knee)
NO PARTICIPATION
- WR Calvin Ridley (foot)
- DE Takk McKinley (groin)
- DE Dante Fowler Jr. (hamstring)
It’s only Wednesday, so don’t panic by seeing Ridley not participating in practice. He’s currently considered day-to-day and seems to have avoided what could have been a much more severe injury. Also absent from Wednesday’s practice was defensive ends Takk McKinley and Dante Fowler who are dealing with groin and hamstring injuries, respectively. Additionally, McKinley is facing some possible discipline after immaturely tweeting about the Falcons not trading him. According to team reporter Will McFadden, McKinley will be held out of Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos.
