Falcoholic Podcast: Recapping the dominant win over the Las Vegas Raiders

We don’t get these victories often. Let’s enjoy it.

If, like me, you came into this game with little confidence that the Falcons could win you were not alone. The Raiders offense came in with numerous weapons and a QB who is having one of his best years ever. Yet, Atlanta dominated from start to finish in a win that surprised nearly everyone that saw it.

Evan Birchfield and I recap that win on our latest postgame podcast. Topics include:

  • The incredible performance by the defense, particularly the play of guys like Deion Jones, Keanu Neal and A.J. Terrell
  • The relatively “quiet” day from Matt Ryan without Todd Gurley and Julio Jones in the game
  • The fact that Dirk Koetter is still not calling good games, even if the team did score 43 points
  • Taking advantage of the four turnovers and making Josh Jacobs look like just another back
  • So much more
