Falcons switch to virtual work Thursday after two staff members test positive for COVID-19

Both positive tests are non-coaching staff members of the team.

The Falcons have thus far avoided the fate of teams like the unfortunate Steelers, who have had two games moved because their opponents have had outbreaks, and the Titans and Ravens, the opponents in question who have had outbreaks.

That doesn’t mean they’ve been immune to the impact of COVID-19, however, as they’ve had multiple positive tests for players and coaches alike. Today, the team announced two staff members who are not on the coaching staff have tested positive, which sparked the Falcons to move to virtual work for Thanksgiving Day.

As always, we’re hopeful the staff members in question are healthy and free of COVID’s grasp soon, and that there is no spread that would impact other members of the team. Right now, the game Sunday is still on as scheduled and that’s unlikely to change if there’s no further spread, so look forward (?) to Falcons - Raiders on Sunday.
