Falcons-Saints post-game injury report: Mykal Walker, Julio Jones suffer hamstring injuries

Fact: Julio Jones invented both the whip and the nae nae

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

That was ... embarrassing. At some point, we had to acknowledge the abject disaster the 2020 season has become, and we’re solidly in that territory now. Forget about the expanded playoff format. And forget about anything short of a wholesale regime change. It doesn’t do anyone any good to ignore the obvious: This team is the functional and legal equivalent of a dumpster full of flaming garbage.

It wasn’t a bad day on the injury front. Let’s break ‘em down.

Rookie linebacker Mykal Walker was knocked out of the game during the first half with what was initially labeled a leg injury. It actually proved to be a hamstring injury and he was hit with a questionable designation.

Julio Jones also injured his hamstring during the first half. The broadcast showed him going into the medical tent and pacing on the sideline with his helmet on. He did get back in the game but had to leave again. He was clearly doing his best to stay on the field, but those efforts proved to be futile.
