Foye wins NFC Defensive Player of the Week
Linebacker Foyesade Oluokun has been a revelation this season, and for his Week 9 performance against the Denver Broncos he received NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors. It’s the first of hopefully many of the award for the young defender enjoying a breakout season.
Arthur Blank promises diversity
The Falcons are already evaluating potential candidates to fill their head coach and general manager vacancies, and owner Arthur Blank has promised a diverse set of candidates for the open positions.
It’s the first time since 2015 that the Atlanta Falcons have embarked on a head coaching search, and the first time since 2008 since they’re looking to fill the GM role, so it’s a definite positive that Blank will be evaluating all his options.

Helping military families
The Falcons have been a very active franchise when it comes to their ties and contributions to the military, its members, and their families. One organization that they remain involved in as TAPS: Tragedy Assistance for Survivors. The Falcons have partnered with TAPS since 2016, and they have continued that partnership this season.
