Happy Wednesday, Falcoholics! It’s hard to believe, but we are a mere 24 hours removed from game day. I can understand why such a quick turnaround might induce some anxiety. “No! Not another game!” After all, we’re still processing our emotions after that Lions loss. But here is actually where things could get fun. If the Falcons can influence the race for the division crown (e.g., defeating a Panther squad that’s 1 win away from being .500 on the year) or playoff seeding, the second half will at least be marginally entertaining.

Short week

Want to stay up late Thursday night and watch the Falcons get dismantled by the Panthers? Then we have all the info you’ll need to catch the game. Falcons-Lions

Eric Robinson has 4 takeaways for the Falcons after an inexplicable loss to the Lions. Dave Choate was kind enough to break down snap counts for us. This week’s “hat tips and head scratchers” is definitely worth a read, as well.

This and that

Cory Woodroof suggests a new perspective for Falcons fans struggling to find some meaning during a loss season. Evan Birchfield hit us with some cold hard stats we all need to take note of this week. Last but certainly not least, the injury report isn’t as scary as it could be at this point in the season.
