The Falcons look pretty healthy aside from Takk, and even he may be back.

The Atlanta Falcons are 1-5 and are set to host the Detroit Lions on Sunday. The team is dealing with some injuries, and notable players like defensive tackle Marlon Davidson and defensive end John Cominsky are on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list, and won’t appear on the practice report below.

The team released its official practice report for Friday, giving us insight into where certain players stand health-wise.

FULL PARTICIPATION

  • WR Russell Gage (shoulder)
  • WR Brandon Powell (elbow)
  • CB Kendall Sheffield (foot)
  • S Jaylinn Hawkins (concussion)

LIMITED PARTICIPATION

NO PARTICIPATION

  • DT Deadrin Senat (rest)
  • RB Todd Gurley (rest)
  • C Alex Mack (rest)
  • G James Carpenter (rest)

Friday’s practice report is always the best for giving us insight into where player’s stand heading into the weekend. It’s the final practice of the week, and the next injury report will be inactives before the game on Sunday. If you’ve been monitoring the reports all week, they look promising. Fowler was held out of practice on Thursday and was limited on Friday, so he’s heading in the right direction. McKinley who has missed time due to his groin injury was limited in practice on Friday, with a questionable designation for Sunday. We’ll hope he can come back.

On the Lions side of things, the team only had one non-participant on Friday per the official practice report. Former Falcons’ cornerback Desmond Trufant has been ruled out for Sunday with a hamstring injury. Everyone else that has been listed on their injury report throughout the week was a full participant on Friday.
