The 49ers and Chiefs will face off in Super Bowl LIV, and NFL fans saw it coming. Our FanPulse results from the week leading up to Championship Sunday confirm it.
We asked fans which teams would blow it in the conference championship games. The Titans, after a truly remarkable playoff run featuring victories over the New England Patriots (gasp) and the Baltimore Ravens (GASP) did fall to the Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium with a final score of 35-24.

“Blew it” is pretty strong language for a Titans team that pretty much held their own on the scoreboard. But the Titans couldn’t get Derrick Henry going or contain Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the Kansas City offense enough to get it done against the Chiefs.
The NFC Championship between the Packers and the 49ers was reminiscent of the Falcons’ beatdown of Green Bay in the NFC Championship after the 2016 season. The outcome was what fans expected.

The Niners were dominant start to finish. Jimmy Garoppolo basically had an extra bye week, completing just four of six passes for 48 yards. It was the Raheem Mostert show, and if you play DFS, I hope you started him. Mostert rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns on the way to the Niners’ 37-20 win.
Fans should at least be happy the Chiefs made it to the big game. Kansas City got the most votes for the team fans want to see in the Super Bowl this year.
