Deadrin Senat undergoes unspecified surgery, per Deadrin Senat’s Instagram account

With the season over, Falcons players can finally take a load off of the exhausting season. Or get surgery. Defensive tackle Deadrin Senat appears to be be in the second group, per his Instagram Story.

Senat was never listed with an injury in the 2019 season. Despite looking pretty solid in 15 games as a rookie, Senat was inactive for the first 14 games of the season. In fact, we complained repeatedly that he was a weekly inactive without an explanation, hindering his development as a 305-pound run stuffer.

We finally have some important info on Senat.

OK, not that. Soon after posting this video, Senat posted the following photos to his Instagram Story, which cannot be linked directly. For what it is worth, he looks to be in good shape in the first video.

Maybe he is just getting his tonsils out? Wisdom teeth?

We cannot guess if this was football related but there is no reason to believe it was anything major. At the very least, Senat was good enough to suit up the last two games of the season. Regardless of the injury, it should not impact his offseason availability.
