Ra’Shede Hageman joined the Falcons as a 2nd round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. In his first three seasons, Hageman started 16 games and combined for 4 sacks and 62 tackles.
After being placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List in 2017 due to domestic violence-related charges, the Falcons re-signed Hageman in April 2019 to a one-year deal. Not long after re-signing him, it was announced that Hageman would be suspended for the first two games of the 2019 season due to violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Hageman spent the rest of the 2019 season on injured reserve. He has not played a professional snap since Super Bowl 51.
Alex Gray joined the Falcons in 2017 as part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway program. The Program allowed the Falcons to carry an 11th practice squad player from abroad. They chose to carry Gray, a former rugby player in England who decided to make a go of it at tight end in the U.S. He however didn’t get any regular season action and landed on injured reserve prior to the 2019 regular season.
