Falcons vs. Titans: Who was the defensive player of the game?

They held a prolific, dominant offense scoreless in the second half!

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Atlanta Falcons Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The Falcons defense was offensive on Sunday. They made the Titans wonder if Marcus Mariota is there future at QB after all. They made A.J. Brown and Corey Davis look like Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley would if they had a competent coordinator. Yet, here we are, wondering who the best piece of crap was in a mountainous pile of disappointing, ugly, smelly crap. Please vote below.

De’Vondre Campbell

On the stat line, Campbell finished with 17 tackles on the day, which led the team. More than anything, I love Campbell’s soups. Chicken and noodle is an all-time classic, but it’s hard to go wrong with a selection that includes broccoli and cheese and the all-time great new england clam chowder. Oh yeah, 2 of those 17 tackles were for a loss. Nice.

Deion Jones

Debo had 8 tackles on the day. I like Deion, so I’m not going to say much here. I just like him. I want better for him.

Vic Beasley

Vic generated some pressure again today, which coincided with the sky turning blood red and the moon splitting in half. At this rate, Vic may finish with more than 4 sacks and if Thomas Dimitroff is still the GM, that will probably be enough to get him a record setting 10 year deal.

Arthur Blank (if he fires Dan Quinn)

Only Uncle Arthur can do it. This team looks so bad and this defense so incompetent right now. I don’t believe it will happen - at least, not until the bye week at the earliest. Yet, if AB managed to do this, he’d get my vote SO FREAKING FAST.
