Wreh-Wilson had just one single tackle on the season coming into this matchup, but the Falcons really can’t afford to lose any other players to injury. It’s one more tragedy in a game that’s generally been a disaster. Last season, Wreh-Wilson appeared in three games for Atlanta and put up four tackles and two pass breakups.
Jamon Brown also exited the game with a concussion, and Wes Schweitzer took over at right guard. Alex Mack left the game briefly with an elbow injury, forcing Wes Schweitzer to center with Ty Sambrailo filling in at right guard. Mercifully, Mack got back into the game. That’s a loss the Falcons truly could not afford.
Atlanta’s secondary takes a hit with this one.
