Bad news on the injury front for the Atlanta Falcons, who are already down a starting right guard since the season began with Chris Lindstrom still recovering from his foot injury.
Now the backup right guard, Jamon Brown, has gone down as well. The ruling is a head injury. Brown was last seen walking back to the locker room without his helmet. He is considered questionable to return.

With the nature of the injury, Brown will likely get evaluated for a concussion in the locker room. If he passes those tests he’ll be back by the end of the game. If not, he’ll be ruled out for the rest of this game and until he can pass those tests. The recovery timetable for a concussion differs from person to person, and if this is a concussion, Brown will need to clear the league’s concussion protocol before returning to the field.
Wes Schweitzer is the next man up at right guard. Here’s hoping Brown’s injury isn’t serious.
Update:
Jamon Brown will not return, as he has been diagnosed with a concussion.
