We’ll see what happens in the return game with Barner sidelined.

The Falcons released the final injury report of the week on Friday in advance of Sunday’s matchup with the Titans. Kenjon Barner is the only player listed as out for Sunday’s game.

Barner landed in the league’s concussion protocol during last week’s loss to the Colts. He’s also rehabbing a knee injury. We may see Mohamed Sanu or Justin Hardy returning punts, and Ito Smith or Kendall Sheffield may be on kick return duty. Smith, of course, was also in the concussion protocol this week, though he was cleared to return to limited practice on Thursday, and he was cleared for full participation on Friday.

Calvin Ridley, Grady Jarrett, and Takk McKinley all practiced fully on Friday, so the Falcons should field a pretty healthy squad against Tennessee.

The Titans were missing Kevin Pamphile, Delanie Walker, and Daren Bates on Thursday. Both Walker and Bates were upgraded to full practice status on Friday.

Here’s Atlanta’s full injury report:

  • #18 WR Calvin Ridley (Hip)
  • #25 RB Ito Smith (Concussion)
  • #97 DT Grady Jarrett (Toe)
  • #98 DE Takkarist McKinley (Knee)

Limited Participation

Did Not Participate

  • #38 RB Kenjon Barner (Concussion/knee)
