There was some good news for the Falcons on Thursday’s injury report. Matt Bosher, De’Vondre Campbell, and Kaleb McGary were all upgraded to full practice status.
Ito Smith also made progress, bumping up from not practicing on Wednesday to limited status on Thursday. That’s encouraging and suggests he’s moving through the concussion protocol with no hiccups. Grady Jarrett was also promoted to limited practice status after missing Wednesday with a toe injury.
Kenjon Barner is still in the concussion protocol, and he has a knee injury. He was the only Falcons player who did not participate on Thursday. If Barner can’t go on Sunday, we could see Mohamed Sanu or Justin Hardy returning punts and Ito Smith (if he clears the concussion protocol) or Kendall Sheffield on kicks.
For the Titans, three players did not participate on Wednesday or Thursday — LB Daren Bates (ankle), OL Kevin Pamphile (knee), and TE Delanie Walker (knee).
