The Falcoholic Staff’s picks for Titans vs. Falcons and the rest of Week 4

Somehow, the stinker of a game we were all forced to sit through last Sunday didn’t scare our staff too much with this week’s picks. We’re unanimously picking the Falcons to win at home against the Titans in Week 4.

Maybe it’s because, after a disastrous first half, the Falcons actually played well against the Colts in the second half. Maybe it’s because we watched them blow it against the Vikings on the road in Week 1, only to come home and put together a win against the Eagles in the friendly confines of Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Whatever the reason, we’re all taking Atlanta this week over the Titans.

Unsurprisingly, we’re all also taking the Chargers this week over the Dolphins, who are tanking and not even trying terribly hard to hide it. Same thing with the Chiefs over the Lions, the Rams over the Bucs, and the Seahawks over the Cardinals. Mercifully, nobody on our staff took the Saints over the Cowboys this week, either, so I don’t have to fake fire anyone for it.

Last week shook up our records quite a bit. As you can see, Kevin’s in the lead at 34-13-1, and Dave and I are tied in second place with 33-14-1 records. Eric’s just joining us this week so going forward we’ll calculate his off of win percentage so we can rank him fairly. James is having a rough go of it, bringing up the rear at 24-23-1.

I’ll add Baxter’s picks for Sunday after we film them. Last week he picked the Colts, and he nailed it. He’s 2-1 on the season, which isn’t bad for a dog.
