The Falcons will not be .500 at the end of the day. Beyond that, of course, very little is certain.
Will the Falcons be able to travel into Lucas Oil Stadium and beat the Colts, an AFC South contender lessened by the loss of Andrew Luck and injuries that are piling up early on? Or will this exceedingly solid team outlast the Falcons, who have been on a roller coaster since the 2019 season began?
My money’s on the former, but as I’ve written several times this week, I don’t feel like we have anywhere near the full measure of this team. The Vikings game may well have been a blip on the radar for them—and I certainly hope it was—but I’d be lying if I said I was feeling brash about this one, or any of the ones following it. A quality win here will do wonders for all of us, and would make for a fine Sunday as well.
Key info’s below, so dive in, get yourself a spot on the couch, and use this as your open thread.
