The Falcoholic staff is back with these week’s picks. Boy oh boy, did that loss against the Vikings ever have an impact on our collective psyche.
Only Cory, DW, Evan, and Kevin think the Falcons pull this one off on Sunday night. The rest of us are still reeling from the Week 1 disaster.

The Eagles have had the Falcons’ number, winning the last three matchups in a row. It’s worth noting, though, that those three games were all in enemy territory. The last time these two teams met in Atlanta was during the 2015 season, and the Falcons pulled off a close one, winning 26-24. Here’s hoping the Falcons are able to make a mark in the win column after this Sunday night matchup.
My dog, Baxter, also went with the Falcons this week.
Everybody thinks the Panthers win Thursday night against the Buccaneers, and the reality is that one NFC South team is going to be 0-2 after that game (unless they tie), so really, we all win. Only James thinks the Saints will get the best of the Rams on the road. James, I’m sorry, but you are fired. Just kidding, but go Rams.
As of right now, Allen, Evan, Kevin and Matt are on top with 11-4-1 records. Dave, Cory, Carter and I are in good shape at 10-5-1, and Adnan, DW, and James are bringing up the rear at 9-6-1.
Let us know what you think of our picks in the comments, and feel free to use this as an open thread to talk trash about the Panthers and Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football, too.
