After trying to corral a catch, Russell Gage landed hard and had to be helped off the field, ultimately heading to the locker room on a cart. It didn’t look good at all for the preseason standout and key special teamers, who up to this point looked to be carving out a larger role on offense.
We’ll update this when we know more about the injury, but we’re hoping it’s a lot less serious than it looked.
