We talked about it on the latest Falcoholic podcast: would guys like Keanu Neal and Ricardo Allen actually play against the Jets in the third preseason game for the Falcons? Well, it certainly looks like that could be the case, as both starting safeties are dressed and appear poised to get some snaps together for the first time since early in the 2018 season.

It’s an incredibly encouraging sight for fans who missed these quality starters last year. Both guys have been practicing all throughout camp and their injuries appear to be behind them. Given the nature of those injuries, this is an incredible turn around, even if they only play a series or two each.
Also, starting running back Devonta Freeman also appears ready to take some snaps against the Jets.

Like Allen and Neal, Freeman missed most of the 2018 season due to injuries. His looked fantastic in camp and he was less of a surprise to play in this game. Still, it’s great to see him on the field.
Your thoughts on these once-injured starters taking the field tonight?
