Falcons vs. Broncos: What you need to know for the 2019 Hall of Fame game

It’s a glorified exhibition, but it’s our glorified exhibition.

Believe it or not, we’ll see our first Falcons football game this Thursday night. Atlanta’s essentially playing five preseason games this year, with this one looming as the least important and likely most sloppy of them all.

Aside from avoiding injuries, all the Falcons really have to do in this one is attempt to entertain us. We’re all starved for football, and their opponent is an interesting challenge, given that the Broncos remain a defensively-adept team with some big question marks on offense. At the very least, they’ll give the Falcons some competition on the ground on both sides of the ball, and their defensive front ought to be a nice test for the rebuilt offensive line, especially rookies Chris Lindstrom and Kaleb McGary.

We’ll get there soon enough. So you can plan your Thursday night, here’s what you’ll need to know to watch the game.
