Here’s a fun, light-hearted question for today’s trivia item, and one that should not confuse anyone about whether the Falcons won or lost the game in question.

This one concerns the largest playoff margin of victory in team history. Given that this team only has ten such victories over their many year of existence, it shouldn’t be hard to winnow down and figure out which one it was, but I’m hoping this will bring back memories of fun playoff games of yore.

The game in question was one of a handful of lopsided beatdowns the Falcons have put on teams over the years, but this one was noteworthy for being one of the most peculiar such beatdowns ever. It featured excellent defense but very few passing yards, as the Falcons simply ran their opponent over for four quarters en route to victory.

What was the game and when did it happen?
