Today’s question comes to us from Crack3rJax19 via Twitter, and it’s a fun one.
As you might expect, Matt Ryan and Steve Bartkowski dominate the single season and career leaderboards for the Falcons when it comes to passing. That definitely extends to the single season marks for passing yardage, with Ryan holding eight of the top ten seasons and Bart holding down #10. There’s just one outlier in the bunch, and he has the eighth-highest number of yards in a single season.
The question, obviously, is who is he? In a franchise with only a small handful of great quarterbacks, he wouldn’t make the list, but he’s still one of the better passer the team had, if only by default. He’s also the only non-Matt Ryan QB to throw for over 4,000 yards in a single season while in Atlanta.
Bonus question: There’s another QB who has one of the franchise’s ten best season totals for touchdown passes, and is again the only man on that list besides Bart and Ryan. Who is he?
