Forbes recently revealed their 2019 The World’s Highest-Paid Athletes Earnings-list, and Matt Ryan has once again made it. In 2018, Forbes listed Ryan as the 9th highest-paid athlete in the world, earning $62.5 million through his salary/winnings and $5 million coming in through endorsements.
However, Matt Ryan has dipped a little in the 2019 rankings, now coming in at 60th. Ryan is expected to earn a total of $54.6 million through salary/winnings, whilst also earning an estimated $5 million through endorsements. His endorsement portfolio includes well-known brands such as Nike, Gatorade, Mercedes-Benz, and Banana Republic to name a few. In March, Ryan agreed to convert $8.75 million of his contract into a signing bonus in order to provide the Falcons with $7 million in cap space.
Obviously, lists featuring the top paid athletes change constantly due to the nature of new contracts, regardless of the sport. You can view Forbes’ full top-100 list by clicking here.
