On Friday evening, the Atlanta Falcons announced that they’ve agreed to terms with four of their 2019 draft selections. The players who signed are DE John Cominsky, CB Jordan Miller, RB Qadree Ollison, and WR/RB Marcus Green.

DE John Cominsky, Charleston

Cominsky is a guy with the physical tools to succeed on the Falcons defensive line, where he could excel as an interior pass rusher with time. His sub-4.7 40 at 285 pounds is most impressive, and Cominsky will likely head into the year as the Falcons fifth end, and possibly slide inside sometimes.

As an interesting side note, Cominsky and GM Thomas Dimitroff are both from Barberton.

RB Qadree Ollison, Pittsburgh

With running backs Devonta Freeman, Ito Smith, and Brian Hill currently on the roster, it’ll be interesting to see how the backfield shapes up come September. Ollison is a big back with versatility and should stick as a short yardage and receiving option. His pass protection skills are also heralded.

CB Jordan Miller, Washington

Miller was the second corner the Falcons selected in the 2019 NFL Draft. He has the height, long arms, and speed (4.49 40) that Dan Quinn looks for in a defensive back. He’ll likely find most of his playing time coming on special teams during his rookie season.

WR/RB Marcus Green, Louisiana-Monroe

Green has experience at wide receiver, running back, and special teams, which gives him an edge to make the final roster. He wasn’t invited to the NFL combine, but ran a 4.39 40 at his pro day.
