2019 Falcons' Predictions

The Falcons will go 0-2 to start the season, losing a close one in Minnesota, and they will get pounded by Phi. I think Fletcher Cox and company will expose a weakness in the young, reshuffled offensive line that the Falcons fix by week three. I don't think this will lead to a reshuffling, personnel change, but a "coaching up" of the line. The Falcons will use that to win their next five games to go 5-2 before dropping a close one to the Rams, and they will get crushed @ NO to bring their record to 6-3. At that point in the season, Keanu Neal will return from his week one injury, and he will solidify the defense. The Falcons will go 5-2 for the rest of the season with a close loss at home to New Orleans. They will beat SF in the wildcard, and lose @ NO in another nail biter, divisional playoff game. After that game is over, the Falcon Fan will have a new name for their pain, as Alvin Kamara will total over two hundred in total yards against us. For those adding up my predictions, 2019 will be a successful season @ 12-6 (counting playoffs), but Falcon fans will be irate about the three losses to our bitter rivals, and how the ATL should've beefed up the middle of their D-line in the off season to stop running backs like Kamara.

The Falcons brain trust will further infuriate the Falcon Fan by stating that they were pleasantly surprised by the play of Rashede Hageman. He may not have been able "to stop various running backs", but he will finally show that he appreciates the opportunity of playing in the NFL, and he will be runner-up in the comeback player of the year in the NFL, but it won't be enough to win it all. I think Damontae Kazee will have have another "surprising" year as a DB stud, as injuries will cause him to play numerous roles in the ATL backfield throughout the season. I think Ryan will have another incredible season, considering he had little in the way of a running game with a career-ending injury to Freeman, and none of the draft picks the ATL picked for his backups pan out. Deion Jones is the starting MLB in the Pro Bowl and widely regarded as one of the three best LBs in the NFL.Grady Jarrett uses another "top 5 DT" year to test the free agent market, and the Falcons also lose De'Vondre Campbell, but the biggest loss that won't be apparent until the Falcons attempt to replace their loss of talent will be former asst. GM Scott Pioli. I think John Cominsky is wide-regarded as a 4th-round steal, and Chris Lindstrom is the in-house rookie of the year.
