The Falcons may carry three or four running backs, so what happens with the fifth or sixth guys on the team is likely to only matter for the summer. Nonetheless, we should note that they're making early moves here at the position.
Jeremy Langford joined the Falcons late last year and saw the Falcons add Qadree Ollison and part-timer Marcus Green, crowding a busy depth chart further. Now he'll hopefully be latching on elsewhere as the Falcons add the former Oregon rookie after a promising tryout.
TRANSACTION: We have signed RB Tony Brooks-James and have waived/injured RB Jeremy Langford.

Brooks-James had a productive college career as a runner, receiver and returner, and his talent makes him an interesting addition. Chances are he'll top out as a practice squad candidate, just given how busy the depth chart is, but he has the skill and versatility to push others on the roster at the very least.
Welcome the newest Falcon aboard!
