Somehow, Thomas Dimitroff and company restrained themselves, standing pat during the second and third rounds as talent flew off the board without ever trading up. That’s no mean feat.
Because of the way those rounds shook out, the Falcons should have a decent shot at snagging some defensive line talent here in the fourth round and beyond, should they want it. They currently have seven selections today overall, which makes swapping up a breeze should they desire to do so, and they should desire to do so unless they’re really planning on replacing seven guys currently on the roster. Given the team’s track record and the talent available, they should be able to land some players who are intriguing over the long haul.
Discuss who you think the team will wind up with here, and we’ll bring you the picks as we get them.
