We’re just a few hours away from the start of the 2019 NFL Draft, which means it’s time to drop my official final positional rankings for the 2019 class. It’s been a fun and interesting draft season, particularly with the variety of positions that the Falcons have looked into in this class. Going into Thursday, we still have very little idea which position Atlanta will come away with in Round 1. I, of course, remain hopeful for DT Ed Oliver—but it could easily be an OT, EDGE, LB, or even CB.
In an effort to keep things simple, I’ll keep the rankings to my top-10 at each position. Keep in mind, these rankings were put together with a Falcons-centric skew: I evaluated each player’s fit in Atlanta’s offense or defense, and that helped inform my rankings. Keep in mind that the tables are easier to read on desktop, as opposed to mobile.
The positions that the Falcons are most likely to target early in this class, in no particular order, are: EDGE, DT, OT, and CB. I’d start there to get an idea about who Atlanta might be targeting at pick 14, or on Day 2. After Day 2, I’d expect the majority of these players to be off the board. If you’ve basically skipped the draft up until this point but would like to get some info on these prospects, check out my most recent 7-round mock draft, my prospect previews and The Draft Network—which has an extensive library of scouting reports.

What are your thoughts on my positional rankings? Any players that you have significantly higher or lower? What would an ideal draft for the Falcons look like for you?
