Though the Atlanta Falcons football world is squarely focused on the draft right now, the world keeps spinning for the players as offseason workouts begin.
The official workout sessions for the Dirty Birds begins April 15, and the league has confirmed the team’s other official non-training camp meeting dates (via NFL.com)
First day: April 15
OTA offseason workouts: May 20-21, May 23, May 29-31, June 3-4, June 6
Mandatory minicamp: June 11-13
If you’re hoping to go observe some pre-July football activities or follow along on social media and with Falcoholic coverage to see the early workings of the 2019 Falcons, these are the dates to watch.
Rookies will also go through their May minicamps following the draft, though the exact dates for those aren’t available just yet.
While the weights and light practice season doesn’t exactly lend itself to the most riveting discussion, it’s still great to know the team is back at it to once again begin building toward the season. We’ll also get a closer look at which players are healthy heading into the summer, and which are not.
We have high expectations for the team to return to their winning ways, and can’t wait to dive back in to see how things are tracking. Follow along with us throughout the schedule above to see what’s what with our Birds.
