Wide receiver Marvin Hall snuck onto the Falcons roster in Steve Sarkisian’s first season. The speedy pass catcher, a member of Sarkisian’s Washington Huskies, made his money as a very occasional deep threat and special teamer.
Hall will reportedly not be back with the new offensive coaching staff.
Similar to a lot of Sarkisian’s offense, Hall was unable to produce consistently in the offense. After two seasons he put up 209 receiving yards as the team’s last receiving option. He definitely has skill but failed to do much outside of a few deep Matt Ryan passes.
Hall must either be close to signing with another team or received word that the Falcons will not bring him back to Flower Branch. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound wide receiver should catch on elsewhere, primarily on special teams. We wish him well wherever he ends up.
