It’s Valentine’s Day, and what a perfect time to look back fondly at the things we loved about this past Falcons season.
Sure, it wasn’t ideal. Finishing 7-9 amid a disastrous array of injuries to key players wasn’t high on anyone’s wish list for 2018. But still, there were moments to love, and our staff and readers weighed in on Twitter.
In honor of Valentine's Day, tell me what you loved the most about the 2018 Falcons season.

For some folks, just making it to a game or two was the highlight of the season.
Getting to actually see them in person for the first time was pretty great for me. pic.twitter.com/S8KpCsf0Rp

Since I live in CLT, it was lots of fun watching them win in person at BofA stadium

Other fans had specific plays in mind.

Julio’s first TD of the season in Washington was fun. Honorable mention to Jake Mathews for hitting a mean block to make it happen
— Arguk the Butcher (@ArgukTheButcher) February 14, 2019
There was good reason to love that first Julio touchdown, because we were all sick of hearing about his lack of scoring.
Julio getting TDs and people finally shutting up about it
— Josh Bartlett (@Jcbartlett25) February 14, 2019
For some fans, it was the emergence of young players or the continued success of veterans.
Jack Crawford finishing tied for 2nd in sacks. Everyone thought I was crazy saying he’d do big things in 2018.

Ok I'm back bc even though 7-9 and hella injuries there was some good....the emergence of Hoop and Kazee.....and a bright future with Ridley, Ito and Senat. Also I have a picture of my name on the #RiseUp letters outside of MBS.

Some people had a hard time finding anything positive to say, which is kind of understandable.
My favorite was definitely the Browns game where I watched something else and really enjoyed myself.
— Offseasonoholic Matt (@FalcoholicMatt) February 14, 2019
When the Falcons were eliminated from the playoffs but then won like 100 games in a row to screw up their draft picks.
— Seth Diamond (@sdiamondATL) February 14, 2019
I loved the roller coaster of emotions that the Dirty Birds took us on from Week 1-Week 17. I only felt like my heart was going to give out 34 times! Wait....this all seems pretty negative.

As a matter of fact, this was the most popular answer:
