Tweet Recap: Falcons vs. Panthers

Let’s see what Twitter had to say during and after that fun win.

Hey Falcoholics! Our Atlanta Falcons took on the Carolina Panthers for the second time this season, and the game ended with a Falcons decisive victory, 40-20. Just in case you missed the game or you’d just like to read some tweets, Twitter has you covered! Let’s recap the game.

Falcons would receive the ball first, as they have the past five games.

The Falcons would go on to punt, but that’s okay — because the Falcons defense would force the Panthers to go 3 & out.

And then quarterback Matt Ryan made NFL history.

The Falcons’ drive would end with a Younghoe Koo 37-yard field goal, giving the Falcons the 3-0 lead.

After a Panthers’ drive which ended in a field goal, Calvin Ridley answered back with the first touchdown of the day. 10-3 Falcons.

On the Panthers very next drive, tight end Ian Thomas bobbled a reception into the open arms of Demontae Kazee.

Ian Thomas would then go on to score for Carolina, which then the Falcons’ Koo connected on a field goal right before halftime.

During halftime, the Falcons inducted former wide receiver Roddy White into their Ring of Honor.

The Panthers would receive to start the half, however Vic Beasley sacks Kyle Allen who fumbled it!

Which then Devonta Freeman would score his first rushing touchdown in 2019!

Following a Panthers punt, Falcons’ wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus had a 93-yard touchdown, a career-long for Matt Ryan. 27-10 Falcons.

and then on the kickoff, Damontae Kazee would force a fumble, which was naturally recovered by Younghoe Koo. He went on to make a field goal. 30-10 Falcons.

And then another Kazee interception!

It would lead to a Koo 50-yarder which had a lucky bounce in. 33-10 Falcons.

Panthers would settle for a field goal, and Brian Hill would score a rushing touchdown. 40-13 Falcons.

Panthers’ quarterback Kyle Allen got a junk time rushing touchdown, and the Falcons win 40-20!

Well that does it, folks. Whether you like it or not, the Falcons won and improved their record to 4-9.
