Wes Schweitzer out with a shoulder injury, John Wetzel in

The Falcons are getting destroyed by injury today. Wes Schweitzer is the latest casualty for a team that can’t afford many more.

Schweitzer is out of the game for now with a shoulder injury, with John Wetzel in at guard in his place. The Falcons were already down James Carpenter and Ty Sambrailo and they parked Jamon Brown for the day, leaving Wetzel as the true option of last resort.

The Falcons need healthy linemen—and certainly a healthy Calvin Ridley—so let’s hope none of these are serious. We’ll see if Schweitzer is back in the game later or not.
