Desmond Trufant left the field against the Carolina Panthers late in the second quarter. Ricardo Allen went in to assist on a tackle on Christian McCaffery, only for the running back to move out of the way. The result was Allen’s helmet taking a diving tackle directly into Trufant.
Some are reporting that trainers are looking at Trufant’s arm.

Trufant left the field for the locker room. We will update when there is more information on his injury. He was limited through part of practice this week with a toe injury and has missed multiple games this season. Prior to today’s game, he played in only 8 games, credited for 17 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 1 tackle for loss.
Update: Trufant has been listed as questionable to return with a forearm injury.
