The Falcons will close out their 2019 season in Week 17 against a team with a lot of similarities: Both teams can be terrible and great. In perhaps the least predictable game of the year, we are taking a stronger look at the inactives.
Headlining the inactives is Adrian Clayborn, who was replacing Takkarist McKinley at defensive end. Allen Bailey, John Cominsky, Austin Larkin, and Jacob Tuioti-Mariner will help soak up Clayborn’s snaps. We are hoping to see more out of Deadrin Senat, who has a chance to start in 2020 if things shake out right.
WR Brandon Powell, S Chris Cooper, LB Ahmad Thomas, IDK Sean Harlow, G Jamon Brown, and G John Wetzel round out Atlanta’s inactives. Cooper was signed just this week but was apparently not needed. Brown is another major bust signing at guard who may be inactive all of 2020 before the Falcons can finally afford to cut him.
The Buccaneers are short handed, most notably with WR Chris Godwin out. With Mike Evans already on IR, the Buccaneers are really short on deep pass catchers. Expect to see plenty of Cameron Brate and and O.J. Howard.
Also out are DT Beau Allen, G Aaron Stinnie, T Jerald Hawkins, WR Spencer Schnell, TE Codey McElroy, and LB Kahzin Daniels.
