NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Falcons stunned nearly everyone who covers the team by announcing that head coach Dan Quinn and GM Thomas Dimitroff will be back with the team in 2020. As expected, we have lots of thoughts on the surprising move. Adnan Ikic joined me to quickly discuss some of our initial reactions to the news on this special podcast.

Some of the topics included:

  • Was keeping Quinn and Dimitroff the right move?
  • Why promoting Raheem Morris to defensive coordinator makes a ton of sense
  • Whether or not the non-announcement of offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter is a sign of his future with the team
