Happy Hump Day, Falcoholics! You’ve stumbled upon our daily links post. It’s full of nutritious vitamins and antioxidants. 2 out of every 10 doctors think you won’t do any long-term damage to your cerebral cortex if you briefly skim the articles we’ve linked below. So there’s that.

Without further ado, links!

More on showing Shanny who’s boss

Our staff reactions to Sunday’s win are definitely worth a quick read. In short, we were elated, because what’s not to like about beating the best team in the NFC? This week’s podcast is one you won’t want to miss. It has everything you’ve come to know and love about our weekly podcasts: brown liquor, a few tears, and lots of high-pitched, maniacal cackling.

Something very interesting happened during Sunday’s win over the 49ers: there was some actual continuity along the offensive front. The Falcoholic himself broke down the snap counts, if you care to take a look.

Last but certainly not least, don’t miss the latest “hat tips and head scratchers.”

What’s next?

If you’re worried about our draft position, then Sunday’s miraculous come from behind win probably gave you fits, because if the season ended today, the Falcons would no longer have a top 10 draft pick. That’s how draft position works. If you keep winning, then your draft position keeps dropping. Oh well.

Draft season is right around the corner. And you know what that means: mock drafts on mock drafts on mock drafts! Todd McShay’s first mock has the Falcons selecting ... a corner back.

For what it’s worth, 56 percent of the fans we polled want Quinn gone at the end of the year. So notwithstanding the success this team has had since the bye week, there’s still a healthy faction that wants the Falcons to move on.

Matt Ryan is the best

Franchise quarterback Matthew Thomas Ryan is really good at 4th quarter comebacks. Speaking of our franchise quarterback, Ryan publicly defended embattled head coach Dan Quinn during an interview on the NFL Network yesterday.

Welcome back, Austin Larkin!

Takk McKinley is headed for IR, so the Falcons brought back pre-season fan favorite Austin Larkin.
