There was a lot to like during Sunday’s win over the 49ers. Look no further than our tweet recap for confirmation of that fact. In short, everyone contributed and they got it done. It was, in a word, astonishing. Or, in the alternative, one might describe their performance as “top-notch.”
Yours truly broke down some of the best and worst individual performances. David Walker broke brought us this week’s editions of best offensive player and best defensive player. And don’t you dare forget about the “fantasy stud and dud.”
Going forward, there are a number of questions that need to be answered. It’s hard to know what to do with Dan Quinn. The first half of the season was an absolute train wreck. That said, he’s led this team to a 4-2 record since the bye. Not bad. Not bad at all.
The rest of the NFC South teams played this week too. We broke down the results of those games. Unfortunately Takk McKinley re-aggravated his shoulder injury Sunday afternoon. The Falcons made the wise decision yesterday to go ahead and shut him down for the year.
