Falcons fans are resilient and brave. Year after year, they endure unspeakable disappointment and heartache. Much like feral pigs, they’re content to survive on food scraps, insects, and dirty water. They are able to survive in exceptionally harsh conditions, including half-full, $1.6 billion stadiums.
But you didn’t come here to hear me sing the praises of this illustrious fan base. You’re here for our delicious links. (Have you tried dipping them in honey mustard? It’s transformative.)
Falcons vs. Saints
We’re looking forward to the first Falcons-Saints game of the season. Here’s all the relevant info. Get it while it’s hot! We have exactly 5 days to look forward to this game. After that, all bets are off and unless the Falcons suddenly learned how to play football during the bye week, it’s bound to get ugly.
8 games to go
Looking ahead to the rest of this season, how does the offense project at this point? It’s November and the Falcons are horrible, which means it’s time for our first 2020 mock draft. Last but undoubtedly not least, the Falcons suck, but what about the rest of the NFC South?
Slow bye week
We were hoping Arthur Blank would summon the courage to let head coach Dan Quinn go during the bye week. But alas, that’s beyond his current comfort level. So in an effort to stop losing football games, the team recently undertook several coaching changes, including making Raheem Morris the secondary coach.
The Falcons made a couple personnel moves on Monday, including the addition of yet another punter. Huzzah!
