Falcons vs. Buccaneers odds: Falcons favored at home after back to back wins

Fact: Matt Ryan can’t snore

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Falcons haven’t loss a football game since October 27, 2019. That’s equal parts shocking and exciting, isn’t it? This week they take on another divisional foe, and if the defense can stay on track, we may be headed for a 3-game winning streak.

So what are the oddsmakers saying about this Sunday’s matchup?

The Falcons are currently 3 point favorites. You read that correctly: the Falcons are favored. In fact, one outlet has the Falcons as 4.5 point favorites.

You may be asking yourself, “how did this happen? I thought we were the worst team in the league!” Well, to be frank, I’m not sure how we got here, either. If I had to venture a guess, it probably has something to do with Jameis Winston being a turnover machine. But that’s just an educated guess.

For what it’s worth, the Bucs are 0-6 against the spread over their last 6 games. And to make matters worse (for them), they’re 0-5 straight up in their last 5 games against the Falcons.

Look, the Falcons never fail to disappoint. So notwithstanding the point spread, they will probably find a way to turn their lack of underdog status into a catastrophe.
