Damontae Kazee followed up popping off Tre’Quan Smith’s helmet with another impact tackle on Latavius Murray on third down. Kazee appeared to run full speed into Murray, a larger back, going for an arm tackle.
He rolled and appeared to be in immediate pain, favoring his arm and/or shoulder. It is a little unclear.

After getting looked at by trainers, Kazee hopped up and jogged off the field under his own power. He swung his arm around and went to the medical tent. That is a good indication there is nothing seriously wrong with Kazee, but we have no word yet on his injury.
Kazee has had a down year after leading the league in interceptions in 2018, but was having a very impressive game against the New Orleans Saints. He had 42 tackles and 0 interceptions in 9 games this season.
Update: Kazee returned to the game in the 4th quarter and was even playing on special teams. There should not be any long-term concerns considering how quickly he was able to return.
