What should Falcons players dress up as for Halloween?

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, Falcoholics! The spookiest day of the year is upon us — an evening of trick-or-treating and perhaps watching Thursday Night Football.

Considering the creepy way the season has gone so far, I asked the fine folks on Twitter what costumes Atlanta Falcons players should wear on All Hallows’ Eve.

Matt Ryan as ‘Bubble Boy’

Falcons’ quarterback Matt Ryan has been sacked 19 times this season, and is on pace to be sacked around 40 times. He’s already had to miss a game with a high ankle sprain, which he hasn’t done since 2009. Bubble Boy seems fitting, as he is going to need some extra protection with eight more games to go.

Vic Beasley as a ‘Magician’

Vic Beasley is going as a magician this year. Not because he’s good at tricks, but because he’s an expert on disappearing. After having 15.5 sacks in 2016, Beasley has had 11.5 total in the three years since. On second thought, maybe he is good at tricks ... such as tricking the Falcons into paying him over $12 million in 2019.

Dan Quinn as ‘2019 Falcons’ Record’

Dan Quinn is going as the Falcons’ record in 2019, which is fitting because of how frightening it is. 2019 has been easily one of the worst starts in recent Falcons’ history, and far worse than anyone could’ve predicted.

Honorable Mentions

We joke here, but on a serious note, all of us at The Falcoholic hope that you and your families have a safe and happy Halloween!
