The Falcoholic staff picks for Falcons vs. Bye Week and other Week 9 NFL games

Hey Falcoholics! Our wonderful, underperforming Atlanta Falcons are sitting at 1-7, and they mercifully have a bye week this week. The good news is they can’t technically lose, but if I know the Falcons (and I like to think that I do) they’ll find a way to get an “L” this weekend.

Heading into this week, our standings couldn’t be any closer! Sitting at the top currently are DW and Kevin, who have a record of 82-38-1, which is honestly very impressive considering how unpredictable the 2019 season has been.

So, let’s get to the picks for this week. The staff is in agreement that the San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, and Dallas Cowboys will all be victorious this week. We do have a brave soul standing his ground against the rest of us, as DW is confident that the Pittsburgh Steelers will handle business against the Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos will defeat the Cleveland Browns. Additionally, DW and James think the winless Miami Dolphins will gain their first win against the New York Jets.
