What Seahawks position group would you add to the Falcons?

There are many, many good choices, which doesn’t bode well for the matchup ahead.

Like it or not, we’re still going to have nine weeks of Falcons football before this thing is over. Make your peace with it now.

The next matchup is also the final one before the bye, and it’s a home game against a Seahawks team coming off an ugly loss. Russell Wilson has been squarely in the MVP discussion all season long and this team, for all their admitted coaching quirks, is a legitimate contender. They will not struggle for motivation (or, in all likelihood, points) against the Falcons.

So heading into this game, if you could steal one position group away from Seattle and install it on this Falcons roster, what would you choose?

You’d be hard-pressed to argue against taking the QB room, just because Wilson has always been great and is playing absolutely out of his mind this season with 15 touchdowns against just 1 interception (plus 178 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground). The running back group is a possibility because Chris Carson is very good, Rashaad Penny has a lot of promise, and C.J. Prosise is the kind of receiving back (when he’s not injured) that could be very useful in a better Falcons offense. It pains me to say it given that we know how good Deion Jones can be, but that Bobby Wagner, K.J. Wright, and Mychal Kendricks linbacker group is looking pretty damn appealing at the moment, too.

So what do you go with? I’m gonna lean toward that linebacker group, because the Falcons need so much help on defense that it’d be an excellent start. If you were more inclined to go with Wilson, who is one of the handful of quarterbacks I’d willingly replace Ryan with (the others are probably Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson, and Lamar Jackson), so be it.

Give us your choice.
