Falcons - Cardinals: Channel, announcers, schedule, odds and more for Week 6

The Falcons (1-4) are in Arizona, ready to have a battle with the Cardinals (1-3-1).

This is the end of the line. Officially, of course, there are 10 more games after this one and 11 weeks until the end of the regular season, but the reality is that if there’s even a shred of hope available to this particular Falcons team, it will be shredded if they should lose to the Cardinals. At that point, they’ll be 1-5 with much tougher matchups looming, and realistically just 1-2 losses possible in their final ten games if they want to make the miracle turnaround.

The truth is that it’s likely already over, as we’ve gloomily written throughout the week, but a win here would at least make for a better Sunday. Arizona is an injured, lousy team with some flashes of upside, and aside from passing insistently and frequently, they don’t have any particularly notable advantages over this Falcons team. From a talent perspective, they’re frankly miles apart, which would make a win minimally satisfying (but still satisfying!) and a loss all the more crushing.

We’re two days away from seeing what the Falcons have in store for us. Here’s how you’ll be able to watch.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Arizona Cardinals, Week 6

When: Sunday, October 7, 4:05 p.m. EST

Where: State Farm Stadium, Phoenix, AZ

Channel: FOX

Announcers: Chris Spileman and Thom Brennaman

Streaming: FOXSportsGo

Radio: 92.9 The Game

Key Questions: Can the Falcons hold a gung-ho passing attack in check after failing spectacularly against the Texans just a week ago? Will David Johnson play? Is this offense ready to run the ball against a middling run defense?

Prediction: Falcons win, 35-31
