The Atlanta Falcons didn’t wait very long after the season to make sweeping changes. After a 7-9 season that most considered disappointing, Dan Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff said goodbye to offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, defensive coordinator Marquand Manuel and special teams coordinator Keith Armstrong. The impact of these firings is the major topic of this week’s podcast, as Dave Choate joins Jeanna and DW to discuss the moves along with this topics:

  • Potential offensive coordinators the Falcons may consider and why Dirk Koetter would not be the end of the world, but Mike Mularkey would
  • Thoughts on Dan Quinn being defensive coordinator in 2019
  • Why bringing on a game manager next year should be seen as a big positive for the team
  • Overall feelings on the moves and whether the team is better off going forward
