Falcoholic FanPulse: More than three-quarters of Atlanta fans think the team is headed in the right direction

New, comments

Before we kick off the 2018 season, a reminder that things look bright for our favorite football team.

Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across the NFL powered by SurveyMonkey. Each week, we send 32 polls to 100+ plugged in fans from each team. Falcons fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

How confident are you in the direction of the team?

Very confident: 76 percent

Somewhat confident: 19 percent

Meh: 3 percent

Not very confident: 1 percent

Not confident at all: 0 percent

Unsurprisingly, the vast majority of Falcons fans have a level of confidence in this team, and a majority of those have a lot. That’s what happens when Atlanta assembles one of the league’s most talented rosters, puts together a coaching staff that is at the very least quite good at developing players, and goes to the playoffs two years in a row, including a Super Bowl. This team’s future still seems bright, as well, and I’d say I also feel very confident about the Falcons over the next 2-3 seasons, at the very least.

In addition, readers and fans polled weighed in on bad rules. I’m not sure the helmet rule is actually worse than the catch rule, which has been the source of so much consternation in recent years, but I’m open to the argument.

What is the worst NFL rule?
