NFL: NFC Divisional Playoff-Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles James Lang-USA TODAY Sports

The 2018 season will kick off with a game between two of the NFL’s best rosters, which seems fitting enough. The Eagles are defending Super Bowl champions and the Falcons are the only NFC squad to make the playoffs in consecutive seasons, and even with injuries to Philadelphia, this should be one of the better tilts of the early NFL season.

The biggest questions for the Falcons revolve around better luck and better performance from some of their key players, including Matt Ryan, Vic Beasley, and Desmond Trufant, and whether Steve Sarkisian is the play caller this team wants him to be or not. The biggest questions for Philadelphia almost all revolve around health, as Carson Wentz, Timmy Jernigan and Alshon Jeffery will be sitting, plus the loss of Frank Reich as an offensive coordinator. Both teams should be excellent in 2018, but don’t be surprised if there’s some rust to shake off early on in this one.

Here’s everything you need to know to watch the game with us tomorrow night. We can’t wait for this season to start. there’s some rust

Atlanta Falcons vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Time: Thursday Night Football, September 6, 8:20 p.m. EST

Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

TV Channel: NBC/NFL Network

Streaming: FuboTV

Announcers: Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth

Radio: 92.9 The Game

Odds: The Falcons are mild underdogs on the road against the injured Eagles, which is fair enough

Prediction: Falcons do win this one, 24-21

Key Questions: Are the Falcons going to be able to put up a better fight on offense than they did in the playoffs, when they memorably were shut down by Philadelphia’s defense? Will Nick Foles turn back into a pumpkin, or at least once of those fancy gourds you display on your kitchen table in autumn? Is the pass rush going to show up for the Falcons? Will star long snapper Josh Harris play?
